Getting started

A practical guide to building and testing with Lyre, whether or not you write code.

Set up your workspace

Lyre runs your project on your computer and lets you work with a coding assistant and test the result on a paired phone. Start with the desktop, then connect your client.

  1. Install and set up Lyre on a supported computer.
  2. Connect a coding provider if you want AI assistance.
  3. Open your first project and check the desktop preview.
  4. Pair your phone and test a real interaction.

Use Lyre Studio on your computer and the Lyre app for your phone. Check the available downloads and release notes for your platform before starting.

Start with something small

A checklist for your team. A booking page. A little tool that saves you a repetitive task. Start with one useful thing and describe what a person should be able to do with it.

Lyre brings a coding assistant, your project files, and an interactive preview into one workspace. Your computer runs the project; a paired phone lets you try it on a real screen.

About early access

Install Lyre Studio on a supported computer first. Phone-client availability varies by platform and testing track. A Lyre account is optional for local work and required only for account-backed or paid services. Read what is available and what is still being built.
