Delete your Lyre Studio account

Request deletion of your Lyre Studio account and associated data by contacting support.

Request account deletion

This page applies to Lyre Studio, the app listed on Google Play. You can request deletion here even if you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in.

Email an account deletion request

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject Lyre Studio account deletion request. You can use the button above or your usual email service.
  2. Tell us that you want your Lyre account and its associated data deleted. Include the email address used for Lyre and your sign-in method, such as Google, Apple or email. Send from that address if you can; if you no longer have access, tell us so we can help verify ownership.
  3. Support will review your request in about two days and reply with any ownership-verification steps and the completion date. We complete deletion within one week after verifying account ownership. Never send your password, sign-in codes, API keys or project source code.
  4. After verification and processing, we will email you to confirm deletion.

The two-day estimate is for reviewing your request, not a promise that all deletion has finished. You do not need to reinstall Lyre to make a request.

What we delete

Your request covers your Lyre account and the associated personal data held by Lyre, not just deactivating the account.

  • Your account profile, including your account email, display name and authentication identity.
  • Account-linked host-directory entries, device associations and access records held by the Lyre service.
  • All account-associated text content held by Lyre, including messages, prompts, saved text and submitted report text, where those records exist in our services.
  • Other account-associated personal data in Lyre services, including billing and transaction records held by Lyre.

Deletion is permanent. Save anything you want to keep before the request is completed. If a service provider processes this data for Lyre, we will also request deletion from that provider.

Retention and backups

We do not retain your account or associated personal data after deletion. This includes account-associated text, billing records and account data in backups managed by Lyre. The retention period after deletion is none. Deletion is completed within one week after ownership verification, including coordinating deletion with service providers processing this data for Lyre.

Files on your devices and accounts with other providers

Deleting your Lyre account does not remotely erase your own project folders, source code, local chats, drafts, checkpoints or logs from your computers and phones. These are stored on your devices rather than in your Lyre account. If you want them removed too, tell support which devices you use and we will help you identify and remove the local Lyre data you choose. Keep backups of projects you want to preserve.

This request does not delete your Google or Apple account, or an independent account you have with an AI provider. Information sent through your own provider account is also subject to that provider’s deletion process. Ask support if you need help distinguishing that data from records held by Lyre.

If you have a subscription

Mention any active Lyre subscription in your request. Account deletion is not a refund request and uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. For a Google Play subscription, open Google Play, select your profile, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Lyre Studio → Cancel subscription. If you subscribed elsewhere or cannot access subscription settings, support can help you with the next steps.

Delete your account on the website

If you can sign in, you can review and delete your Lyre Studio account on the account deletion page. It shows the account and data affected, explains retention and subscription effects, verifies ownership by your sign-in, requires you to type DELETE to confirm, and then shows processing and completion status.

If you cannot sign in, the option is unavailable, or a step fails, use the email request above. Support can also help when a service provider or subscription must be handled separately.
