Conversations
Send requests, add context, handle approvals and keep the same work moving.

Prepare a request
Check the selected computer, project, provider and model before sending. Choose a task mode for how the agent should approach the message. Provider permission mode is a separate choice: a task mode does not grant file or command access.
Use the attachment menu for supported files, images and saved context. Review the attachment preview and any image-transfer consent before Send. Dictation adds text to your draft; it uses the speech provider configured for that feature.
Send while the agent is working
Messages can wait in the conversation's queue while the current turn runs. Review, edit or remove a queued message before it is dispatched. Send now uses the current provider's supported turn behavior; read its confirmation when interrupting work is required.
A queued message remains associated with its conversation. Switching projects or reconnecting does not turn it into a request for another agent. Stop ends the current work; review the resulting status before sending a replacement task.
Answer questions and approvals
An agent may ask a question or request permission for a tool. Read the proposed command, files and scope, then allow or deny the action through that provider's approval flow. Check Activity for conversations waiting for you.
Approving an agent tool does not pair another device or grant it new projects. App-only viewers cannot open agent conversations.
Resume, import or hand off
Lyre retains conversation history and uses the provider's supported resume behavior. Import a recognized provider session through the conversation import flow. Forking creates a separate conversation from available context; it does not merge later changes back automatically.
For a consumer chat export, choose Import a conversationFile or text. Select supported text, JSON or ZIP data, choose one conversation, review and edit its context, then select the project, agent and next request. Continue with this context creates a new agent session. It does not import consumer-chat credentials or a coding-provider resume handle.
To move context between providers or share a reviewed reference, use Session handoff. Archive finished conversations through their menu. Closing a view and stopping an agent are separate actions.
