Containers
Inspect host containers and create temporary environments.

Inspect the selected computer
Open SettingsContainers on a compatible host. Docker or Podman must be installed on that computer. Review the runtime status, search the inventory and expand a container for its reported state, health and available resource figures.
This is computer administration and requires owner authority. Project development access and app-only viewing do not grant access to the host's container runtime.
Use lifecycle and tools
Compatible hosts offer Start, Stop, Restart, Pause, Unpause and Remove for the selected container. Review the removal confirmation. Tools can inspect operational metadata, read bounded logs and files, or explicitly run a command inside that container.
A reported container process and a healthy app are separate states. Check the runtime's output and your application's actual behavior.
Create a temporary environment
In Temporary, choose the available image and lifetime controls and create the environment. The runtime pulls the image when needed. It must support the sleep command used for the lifetime.
Temporary containers stop and are removed when their lifetime ends. Lyre does not mount the host's project folder into them; keep work you need in an explicitly saved location. Temporary containers are separate from project worktrees.
