Check which settings you are changing

Device preferences affect the client you are using. Computer settings affect the selected host. Project settings affect that project's scripts and setup. Account settings affect your signed-in Lyre account. Check the scope before saving, especially when several computers are connected.

Use Settings search to reveal the matching control, including a collapsed group. Follow that control's save behavior; closing a disclosure does not submit its draft.

Make the workspace comfortable

Use the existing appearance, work-style, text, sound and layout preferences. Change between Guided and Developer without restarting your work. Explorer's placement menu can select a side or restore automatic placement. Keyboard shortcuts and compact panels provide their device-supported navigation.

On desktop, Open on startup controls whether Lyre launches when you sign in to the computer. Keeping Lyre running and stopping a task remain separate choices.

Manage computer access

Overview and connection settings identify the selected computer. A local alias is separate from its computer-wide name. Manage pairing, developer project grants, remote-desktop policy and optional wake setup through their existing controls.

Only an authorized owner can change host administration settings. Pairing and remote desktop explain their access boundaries.

Account and service settings

Sign in for account-backed services and inspect the account's subscription and service status. Local development can continue without a Lyre cloud account. Coding-provider sign-in is separate: configure it in AI & agents.

Use account deletion for a deletion request. Signing out or deleting a Lyre account does not delete your local project directory or close a separate provider account.
